But there’s something many brands don’t talk about: Potency accuracy and packaging stability matter more than you think. Our 30-Day Shelf Stability Review

To better understand how packaging and shelf time impact THC potency, we conducted our own internal case study. We purchased multiple cannabis beverage brands directly from retail shelves and had them tested after 30 days under normal storage conditions. What we found reinforced our concerns. Across the products tested, lab results showed measurable variance between labeled THC potency and actual concentration after time on shelf. In several cases, the results no longer aligned with the original Certificate of Analysis (COA). That kind of potency drift can lead to inconsistent dosing and unpredictable effects. For us, it confirmed one thing: long-term stability testing and packaging compatibility are critical in cannabis beverages.
